About
Founded by Michael Berberian and renowned publisher Nicolas Ramaget (also of Editions Hurlantes, the publisher for Gojira, Immortal, Rise of the NorthStar, Anorexia Nervosa, Carnival In Coal, Skald, Gorod, Crisix) in 2009, Season of Mist Publishing is the natural extension of the Season of Mist label, but not only.
Season of Mist Publishing manages authors rights for most of the Season of Mist catalogue, but also other songwriters like Igorrr (Metal Blade), Septicflesh (Nuclear Blast), DVNE (Metal Blade), Hangman Chair (Nuclear Blast) to name a few.
Season of Mist Publishing has a network of subpublishers and sync departments around the world, but always via independant subpublishers, in countries such as USA (Reservoir), Japan (Marquee, Little Star), G.A.S. (Freibank).
We do not delegate, like many independent publishers do, the admin work to a major company.
We administer everything ourselves, which allows us to keep a close eye on your rights and cut the numbers of in between.
